How to Play Hangman

Hangman is a classic word-guessing game. One player thinks of a word, and the other tries to guess it letter by letter before the hangman figure is completed.

Gameplay

The secret word is shown as blank dashes. Click or tap a letter to guess it. If the letter is in the word, it will be revealed in all its positions. If not, a body part is added to the hangman.

Winning & Losing

You win by guessing all the letters before 6 wrong guesses. You lose when the full hangman figure is drawn (head, body, left arm, right arm, left leg, right leg).

Game Modes

vs Computer: The computer picks a random word from your chosen category. Categories include Animals, Countries, Sports, Food, Science, and more.

vs Friend: One player types a secret word, then hands the device to the other player to guess. Great for playing together!
